Meet the instruments that will transform the way we play and experience music.
The Guthman is one of the only competitions of its kind - an event dedicated to identifying the newest and greatest ideas in music. Every year, musical inventors from around the world share their creations and ideas about the future of music. Take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy a concert featuring the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition finalists as they play their inventions, and be there when the judges announce the winners! Judges this year include: Athan Billias, President of the MIDI Association; Kris Bowers, Award-winning film score composer and pianist; and Morwaread Farbood, Associate Director of Music Technology at New York University.
Make plans to also enjoy the free music, art, and technology fair at Klaus Atrium that same day from 4-6:30 p.m.
